We are a collaborative group of community members working together for a shared vision for the future of the Visy site — seeking long-term public and community benefit for 4101 and greater Brisbane.
Our purpose — protect the Visy site.
To retain and enhance public land for public purpose, ensuring the Visy site becomes a Brisbane legacy precinct that supports social, community, environmental and economic wellbeing.
The Queensland government is SELLING 7.1 hectares of PUBLIC RIVERFRONT LAND on Montague Road in the heart of Brisbane's arts and cultural precinct for PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT.
What you can do now — sign our petition
The 7-hectare Visy site is the last publicly-owned riverfront land in Brisbane’s inner-city. We’re calling on the Queensland government to keep this land in public hands and deliver a visionary South Bank 2.0.
Instead of handing it to developers, we could create a new riverside parkland, sporting fields, and community facilities that future generations can enjoy. Join us to tell the state government and Brisbane City Council how this land could be utilised. Closes Dec 31st.
